A humble beginning. We think you’re going to love it.

How Apple products changed my life. And welcome! Apple has been a part of my life, whether physically or figuratively for longer than I can remember. I still remember discussing the release of the first iPhone while in elementary school, and the excitement surrounding the iPhone 4 as I approached high school. My friends and…

Who am I?

I’m just a tech-loving nobody from the middle of nowhere, and honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. By day, I work in tech, but my real passion involves anything with a silicon chip, a lens, or a speaker. When I’m not obsessing over gear, you can find me hanging out with animals, shooting film photography, or re-watching Parks and Rec for the hundredth time.

Why I Started Apple Hobbyist

My love affair with Apple began in elementary school, gawking at store catalogs and dreaming of the devices I’d buy if I actually had “adult money.” I got my first iPod at 11, and I haven’t looked back since.

I spent over a year overthinking this, but I finally realized I needed a space to talk shop. My friends and family are great, but they don’t exactly share my enthusiasm for the latest tech specs. I’ve spent years reading other people’s Apple blogs, so I decided to stop lurking and start contributing.

Apple Hobbyist is my little corner of the internet: a place to share my passions for tech, photography, and everything in between. Thanks for stopping by!
